History

  • 11/22/2004 - Version 1.3 released.
    • A couple bug fixes. Rating rounding should work on foreign comma-separated values.
    • Added a few "short" names for shortened recoreded game names.
  • 9/19/2004 - Version 1.2 released.
    • Many bug fixes and catches... should be a much more robust application.
    • Added new rename parameters: {comp}, {raterounded}, {myname}, {myciv}, {myrate}, {myraterounded}, {myteam}.
    • Added ability to move files on rename, including parameter replacement.
    • Implemented workaround for date bug with games against the computer: game time is now read from file creation timestamp.
    • Added ability to trim player names in case they are too long.
    • Added automatic rename ability by watching for AOMx created files in a directory.
  • 9/16/2004 - Version 1.1 released.
    • Silly startup bug fix.
  • 9/15/2004 - Version 1.0 released.

Known Bugs

  • There may be issues with renaming "*.rec" files from the original Age of Mythology. I don't really play the original anymore, so I didn't really test this much.
  • Some files mysteriously just cannot be renamed. Maybe something to do with observers?

Future Additions

  • Might there be a way to determine which god was chosen if a player picked "Random All" or similar?
  • Is it possible to figure out who won/lost based on the recorded game header info?
